Dude enters in last National, wins High Score Best Opposite Veteran and runs his 80th straight race, plus all the ovals he's run, close to 100 races. A good career. Retired from racing.

In 2013 Dude turned 7 and ran in his 79th Straight race!

Nov 19/20, 2011 Fun in the Sun! After garnering 7 points at the NOTRA Derby, we decide to indulge in our desire to try out the JAX greyhound rail lure/sand track in Florida to see if we can get Dude's last 1.5 points needed to finish his ORC. We figure we need to get to every oval event we can before he turns 6 years old!!! So Dude flies to Florida to try out the Jacksonville Greyhound practice track. It's on sand and uses a rail lure just the like the professionals! Dude seems to be made to run this track and at one time even leaves Chili in the dust! Dude is 6th the first day out of 60! dogs and 3rd the second day out of 50! Whippets the next day. Getting 7 ORC points finishing his Oval Race Championship with an exclamation point!

Oct 10, 2011 Dude has his best oval meet in his life at the NOTRA Derby; 4th place (and 7 orc points) with an entry of 72!! All of the sudden at age 5 1/2, Dude seems to be on his way to his oval championship! It was muddy and track conditions were rough, Dude held the rail all day, winning his first 2 races and moving to the HP. He was 4th in both the HP races, he made every dog in that last race go around him, he was NOT giving up the rail.

Sept 5, 2012 at the Iron Hound event in Ca. Dude gets a 2nd placement in the ASFA lure coursing trial

Aug 27th Dude gets High Score Veteran at the BCWRC Finnigan meet.

5/1/11 RCRA Sacramento NAWRA: Another top 10 finish!

Top 10 NCWC NOTRA out of 32 10/31/10

Top 20 at the NOTRA National 8/28/10 out of 108 Whippets!

2nd Place in RCH class under Carole Adley at the National fun match 8/26/10

3rd place at our ORCC meet getting 3 ORC points June 27, 2010

7th at the WWRC May 1, 2010 NAWRA

5th at our 3/14/10 ORCC meet getting 3 more RCH points!

Dude got 7th place out of 40 dogs at the BCWRC meet in Canada getting 1/2 of a RCH point. He ran again the very next day against some fast, fresh dogs and got 4th out of 30 dogs and got 2 RCH points. He's well on his way now with 11.2 points!

Dude wins the ORCC NAWRA meet Sept. 20, 2008 for 3 pts giving him a total of 8 towards the 15 he needs for a race title.

July 2008: What we were forced to do one summer weekend when we couldn't go straight racing: Coon dog water races, tree contest and bear race. Turns out whippets can do anything. Who knew. See the photos in his photo gallery

Top 10 at the NOTRA National Racemeet, New Castle, Indiana 10/4/2009 getting 1/2 ORC point

I picked Dude, just like I’ve picked all my other puppies; with my heart. He is growing up to be a wonderful, sweet boy. Calm and laid back to the extreme with a solid surfer dude body and attitude. Watch out for this dude!
